Clarendon House was originally built as a one story commercial building in 1950. It is named after the Earl of clarendon, Edward Hyde, who was King Charles II's right hand man in the late 1600s. He, along with five others were appointed Lord Proprietors of the East coast from the southern border of Virginia to Cape Canaveral.
The building was renovated and a new floor added in 1989. It offers 6 one bedroom suites and 2 two bedroom suites on the second floor. Spacious and bright, styles vary from Southwestern to Caribbean. Two of the one bedroom and the two bedroom suites can interconnect through a Conservatory, ideal for small groups or reunions.
